Room felt clean and safe. Recently updated also.

The rooms were really nice. The staff was super helpful. They could have used more assistance with guest bags to the rooms. The ghost tour was awesome. The food and drinks in the 3 Owl bar and restaurant were great! The pool area outside was super nice. The reason we went was for the SPA which was WORTH every penny!!!!! We even booked another session to the 2 we already had booked. Definitely would go back again. Wabash BBQ is literally down the street-Great Food! Not a lot to do outside the hotel experience and spa unless you drive to KC.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Origin hotel. We arrived a bit early and they accommodated our early check in. We stopped by the hotel bar for a pre-wedding drink and both our drinks were made perfectly by the bartender. We had a great night's sleep after the wedding. Only complaint was housekeeping started really early before 8 am on our floor so things started to get a little noisy before we intended on waking up.

Expedia said we could pay at the property, but upon arrival we were told we were already charged, and could not use someone else’s card (who was staying as well and wanted to pay) than who booked the room. In addition it was a Friday and we were staying 2 nights, and we couldn’t talk to the manager until Monday! Finally they were able to put the room on a different card, but it has not been taken off the first card.

This was such a wonderful little place hidden right in the middle of a neighborhood! It’s exceptionally clean and quiet. Christopher was so friendly and pleasant and shared the history of the home with us. And the breakfast was incredible! Fresh, homemade and delicious. We would stay here again in a minute!
